What we do

People often ask us what we do.
We:
Spay/Neuter hundreds of animals every year ($7000/year)
Provide low-cost vaccinations and microchipping
Rescue animals in need ($4500/year)
Trap/Neuter/Return ($2800/year)
Tame feral kittens so they can have loving homes
Care for a colony of over 65 cats, providing food & water, shelter, parasitie control, and other medical care as needed ($1100/year)
ADOPT out our rescued animals ($4200/year)
Provide food for animals left behind during hurricane Katrina ($800/year)

Every day we receive a dozen emails from people who currently have "cat problems". We make sure each one is given a solution that provides the animal with the vet care and quality of life it deserves.

The need for rescue and care for animals belonging to low-income individuals in the area is overwhelming. Help us help them!

Since inception we have:
"fixed" 612 cats and 4 dogs (almost all were trapped cats)
adopted out 142 cats
microchipped 67 dogs and 188 cats
and fallen in love with more than we could ever keep!!
