GOING BACK!!

I am going back to New Orleans/St. Bernard Parish for Xmas (assuming enough adoptions occur to make that possible). We need 15 more kittys to find homes between now and Xmas day, so if you're looking for an awesome new pal, look no further than our shelter! And know that by doing so you'll help SO MANY more by letting me help others.

Nothing has lifted my spirits as much as the idea of going back for more street work. I can't believe it has almost been a year. I'm even looking forward to seeing Shirley and Crazy Marie (or is it Marie and Crazy Shirley??)!! I want to see Bert, who has a spiritual belief that "God has plans for us", Nolan, whose house should be rebuilt by now, Jeni & Tammy & all of my friends in Raceland. I want to be back on the ground trapping & feeding. Last year, in 8 days, I trapped & fixed over 50 cats! That's a lot fewer babies and far less suffering. I look forward to 6 hours of sleep a night on the floor.

If you've got some time for a life-changing experience, COME WITH ME!!! Spend a week or 2 and know what it's like to do straight rescue. If you can't come, ADOPT a pet so that I can get away to do this. If your house is full, DONATE so more can be done for those who can't help themselves...................
