Floodwaters rising

Most of us don't realize how often animals are in jeopardy within our 50 states. Right now flooding along the Mississippi river has caused the death of thousands of animals over the past couple days--and the rain is still coming down. Animals from Hurricane Katrina are still in need of rescue more than 2 years later.

If you are interested in Disaster Training, go to www.noahswish.org for info on dates & locations. If you can't travel, but can contribute to volunteers who can, visit our website and make a donation. To keep up to date on animal related news visit www.kinshipcircle.org and place yourself on some of their mailing lists. What you learn will change your life forever.....................

Happy endings

The shelter is closed now, all our animals have homes. We are getting back to work with spay/neuter as well as the care of homeless animals. They all need wormer and flea treatment, as well as spay/neuter and constant food. It's a busy job! A huge thank you to those who make it possible.

Your last hard day was yesterday

SABRINA’S ORDEAL:
Sabrina had diesel fuel poured on her in an attempt to cure her of the
mange. Unfortunately, diesel is toxic. Initial Diagnoses: Demodex mange;
covered in fleas; mild heartworm positive; malnourished; bloody, scabby,
scaly, inflamed skin; missing approx. 70% of her hair; tapeworms…

Sabrina's medical costs are estimated at $1,300, please help this poor girl by sending a donation! You can contribute by making a paypal donation to: donation@paypal.com.

The next project: Shadow. Shadow is a stray dog that has been seen roaming for over 2 months. She is wearing a collar now embedded in her skin, with blood oozing down her chest.

We can't help these animals without you! Everyone can do something to help the plight of homeless animals. THANK YOU!!
